Hi, I'm Ashley. 

Since I don't know you, and you don't know me (yet), let's talk about the weather. 

I'm originally from Miami, Florida, where the heat is on and also inescapable. In an effort to save myself from the wrath of a billion suns I moved  to Savannah, Georgia for college. Which unfortunately was just as hot, with the added touch of 100% humidity. After graduating I swore to myself that I would move somewhere less sweaty, but instead I accepted a position as Jr. Copywriter in Austin, TX, America's inferno. As you can imagine my time under the Texas sun was brief. But finally, after 24 years, I've emerged from the flames. Now I'm currently frozen in NYC, but I have years of southern memories to warm me up. And a parka.
